The Freshers Day for on the Sahyadri Campus. The chief guest of the event was Mr. E. S. Chakravarthy, the center head of TCS in Bangalore. Three TCS delegates, Mr. Chandru Koduru, Mr. Prithvesh, and Mr. Ramanujam, were with him. Dr. D.L. Prabhakara, Director, Sahyadri Educational Institutions was the Guest of Honour. In his presidential address to the new students, Mr. Manjunath Bhandary, the Chairman, informed the attendees and guests about the College's progress in a number of areas, including academics, athletics, projects, and the encouragement of research and creativity. He thanked the winners of the project exhibition and the Microsoft Yappon contest, which were hosted in conjunction with the international conference on embedded systems automotive and avionics at IISc in Bangalore.
