RA Power Solutions undertakes crankshaft reconditioning and repair on board vessels. It is no longer necessary to remove the crankshaft and ship it to a workshop for repair; instead, the user can have the crankshaft fixed on-site. While the maintenance plan outlined by the engine manufacturer in the maintenance handbook is strictly followed, the condition of the crankshaft is not taken into consideration, as far as we can tell.
