This recipe is an extension of my previous vegetable pancake recipe as I mentioned earlier. After posting my veggie hotcakes recipe, I received a lot of requests for a cheese-based flapjack recipe. Paneer not only makes it creamy and filling but it also contains plenty of protein. We all know that paneer is the best protein option for vegetarians and people who do not eat meat. Typically, paneer is used in most curry dishes, yet it can also be used in breakfast dishes. additionally, I served this recipe with spicy red and green chutney, making it a winning combination. However, due to the abundance of spices present in it, it can be served without any additional ingredients. Please try this paneer pancake recipe and let me know if you like it.
Furthermore, some additional tips, suggestions and variations related to paneer pancake recipe. firstly and most importantly, i have used fresh sorted paneer grind for this recipe which makes it fresh and tasty. For this recipe, I also strongly recommend using freshly prepared paneer; However, store bought hard cheese can also be used. Second, I used a smaller pancake pan for this recipe, which makes it easier to shape. These nutty roasties can also be cooked in appam pan or dosa pan. Finally, if you are comfortable with meat, you can make a meat cheese pancake by using a meat grater to combine it with cheese.
