The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) is working on the third Master Plan for Namma Chennai, as well as leading the discussion on instruments for city densification, land pooling, land value capture, development rights transfer, and so on. It also planned to reduce traffic congestion in the city and promote the state and metropolitan economies.
