Chhajed Steel Limited are aggressively venturing into exporting of our products to various countries. Monel is a common name for a group of nickel alloys that contain nickel the most with copper and other elements. The alloy is called cupronickel when the copper content exceeds nickel content. Usually, Monel contains from 52 to 67% of nickel. Monel properties and the composition make it stronger than pure nickel material. The formation could be by hot rolling or cold drawing. The cold drawn products precise in their dimensions and the hot rolled ones are much stronger. The alloy is very resistant especially to rapid flow of sea water. The cold drawn products precise in their dimensions and the hot rolled ones are much stronger. The alloy is very resistant especially to rapid flow of sea water. This property makes it best suited for sea water and marine applications. It is easy to be welded, machined and cold worked upon this material. The Alloy 400 has high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is used in hydrocarbon processing, marine applications and in heat exchangers. The Alloy 401 is used especially in electric and electronic applications. It has compatible brazing properties. The Alloy 404 has low permeability and therefore it is used in electrical and electronic applications as well.
