Asset tokenization

Capital markets are still in the early stages of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLT) adoption, and the industry is still looking for viable use cases. The creation of digitally tokenized assets is one broad category of such use cases, in which the token either represents a property interest that exists only on the Blockchain (such as non-certificated securities) or represents an asset that exists off the Blockchain.
