· Manage Localization efforts in a multidisciplinary team through all stages of the development lifecycle and through live operations.
· Manage external Localization partners, improve processes, manage expectations, and keep a constant close eye on quality input and output.
· Perform analyses of current processes, proactively identify potential optimizations, and implement creative solutions to challenges.
· Maintain process and workflow documentation, including tool documentation, training materials, and best practices.
· Manage effective communication with all related stakeholders, and function as the point of contact for internal development studios.
Basic Qualifications:
· Fluency in English and native-level fluency in at least one other language.
· 3+ years as a dedicated Localization producer or project manager in a gaming studio or a globally shipped entertainment or technical product.
· Language enthusiast with the ability to effectively communicate and resolve linguistic issues.
· Ability to work flexibly and effectively with partners located in various offices across time zones.
· Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on building productive and positive relationships with external partners, managers, and peers.
· Excellent analytical skills: understanding, simplifying, and solving problems.
· Superior attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Solid working knowledge of CAT tools, CMS tools, Microsoft Office products, as well as good general computer skills.
· Project management tool fluency a plus.
· Quality Assurance process familiarity a plus.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be adept dealing with tight deadlines and time pressure.
· Good team player; experience working in a multicultural and global team.
· A degree in or related to translation, localization, English, or linguistics a plus.
· Prior experience in translation.
