It's important not to get too obsessed with your bodyweight measurements when you're trying to be healthy. “It’s hard not to get addicted to constantly checking your weight on the scale when you are trying to lose weight,” says Kim Mahony, RD, LDN and Corporate Manager at Lutheran Home Communities. And while your weight can help you gain insight into certain aspects of your health, Mahony advises focusing on how you feel, how your clothes fit, your body fat percentage, and your muscle mass as well.
