Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the system for upgrading the armor and weapons in Cyberpunk has been improved. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you'd like to upgrade should also include an upgrade slot. If you select an item upgrader mod to upgrade item the game will display an image of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, as well as the necessary component or item required. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item, the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include armor and weapons as well as a few trinkets and gathering tools.
