IIT JEE is an entrance exam for admission to various engineering colleges across India. There are two different stages of these exams namely- JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Mains is the preliminary stage and only students are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced if they can get the cut off marks of this exam. IIT-JEE is an academic exam conducted by one of the seven IIT regions. Joint Admissions Board (JAB) conducts this examination. A candidate can give IIT JEE twice in a consecutive year. They cannot appear in the examination for the third consecutive time.
