Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades allow players to increase the Item Upgrader kit level of items that can be equipped, such as weapons, armor, and trinkets to a certain level. You can upgrade items at any NPC that accepts the appropriate currency.
Slots are used to upgrades to equipment in order to gain attributes bonuses and other effects. These are mostly slot-restricted, however, there are certain universal upgrades.

However players should be cautious when selecting an upgrade as they won't know what the new stats will be until the Best item upgrade is changed.
